In a pre-apocalyptic world, where America has allowed the legalization of marijuana in two states, for recreational purposes, what can we expect to happen in the future? You can now legally buy marijuana in Colorado, fly to Washington and buy more marijuana, or vice-versa, and if you want to smoke yourself silly after the long flight, you can. Now, we all know what they say about marijuana, and how its a "gateway-drug", this statement is totally true, as we can almost certainly expect other states to follow suit in legalizing the drug in the near future.
Although, these states have legalized the STILL Federally classified, schedule 1 drug, weed is still illegal on a Federal level. Even with this minor hurdle, we can expect the prohibition of cannabis to deteriorate exponentially around the country within the next few decades or so, if not even shorter than that. The days of Anslinger's fear mongering will be long gone and all of Americas pot enthusiasts, will be free to smoke in peace.
