TradeVoorhees- Ellacopter (Download HERE)
Northtown's own, TradeVoorhees, Released "Ellacopter" earlier this week, and I must say this mixtape, for lack of a better word...SLAPS. Not like all those popular, "trap-hop" songs slap, BUT more like how, an angry grandmother slaps a delinquent child. All lame analogies aside though, this mixtape is professionally crafted, from the lyricism down to the production. Who would think to sample "The Super Smash Bros." 8-Bit sounds? When I heard that, I almost fell out of my computer chair. Now I've been a pretty avid Trade listener for awhile, and the only "bad" thing I can really say about the tape, is that I wish it were longer.
